Molly
Steadman Executive Director Molly
earned a Certified Association Executive designation from the
American Society of Association Executives in 2006. She received
her MBA from Rockhurst University and a Bachelor of Arts in
Communication from Pittsburg State University. Her early career
included marketing positions at both Hallmark Cards in Kansas City,
Missouri and Management Ventures in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Before moving to Warren County, Molly spent five years in
Association management, most recently as the Executive Director
of the Broadway Hometown Partnership in Broadway, Virginia.
Michelle Shenk Prevention
Specialist
Michelle graduated from Old Dominion University with a
Bachelor's of Science in Human Services. Michelle
comes
to us from Lord Fairfax Community College where she worked in
various roles over the course of six years.
She is currently working on her Master's of
Science in Organizational Leadership at Shenandoah
University.
As a Prevention
Specialiat she facilitates "Healthy Choices" groups in the
secondary schools, sponsors a high school Youth In Action group
and offers presentations/workshops to elementary classes and parent
groups. She believes in developing assets in students to protect
them against risky behaviors and empowers them to make positive
choices that will affect their future.
Joyce
Jenkins-Wimmer College Access Network
Coordinator
Joyce is a graduate of Emory
& Henry College (B.A.) and the University of Virginia (M.Ed.),
her community involvement
includes serving on the
boards of Samuel Library and Healthy Families-Warren
County.
As a College Access Network
Coordinator, she assists students with their college and career
plans, financial aid and scholarships. She holds awareness
workshops for parents and students and has established job
shadowing opportunities within the community.
