Parent Coaching Philosophy

¨      The position of parent is the most important job a person can ever hold. The parent of today will shape not only their own children, but subsequent generations to come. Our children are both our reward and our gift. They are our most important legacy. The outcome of our parenting does not need to be left to chance. But with so much conflicting information how do we accomplish the best result? As with any job well done-the child benefits from a parent that is armed with good information, a goal, and a flexible plan. This requires reflection.

¨      The parent is the first and most important teacher the child will ever have.

¨      Every parent has strengths. Learning to parent from those strengths instead of our wounds calls for information and support.

¨      Every family is unique and deserves to have a parenting plan that best fits their lifestyle.

¨      Parenting is the adult’s job. It is a responsibility of that occupation to set the tone for the household and the family.

¨      Every parent is empowered by accurate and updated information.
